Using an SD Card
Before you can load additional games into the Vega, you need a compatible micro SD card. Find out more with this short guide.
The Vega supports Standard-Capacity (SDSC) and High-Capacity (SDHC) micro SD cards, which are the smallest form-factor of SD card available, and must be formatted with the FAT32 filesystem.
eXtended Capacity (SDXC) cards are not supported, as they use Microsoft’s proprietary exFAT filesystem. See Secure Digital cards for full details.
Organizing files on the SD card
Game files should be organised into folders on the SD card. There is a limit to the number of files that can be stored on an SD card without placing them in folders, which is around 250 files.
Organizing game files into folders makes them easier to access, and increases the speed at which the Vega can read them and build the game menu.
For example, folders could be created for each game publisher, or genre. You might decide to create a folder for each letter of the alphabet, but since the Vega groups game titles alphabetically, doing so could create one very long menu which would be slow to navigate, so this approach is not recommended.

On my ZX Spectrum Vega it will only show one game on the SD card so if it put like 10 games in a folder it scans the folder and only shows the first game,I don't know why.
But If yours does the same I found a workaround. What you have to do is make a folder for each game in the root of the SD card, so if you want to add a game called Tetris..
It don't matter what type of file it is it still does it. File types are:- szx,z80,tap,sna,tzx,mdr,dsk
1. Make a folder in the root of the SD card called Tetris. 2. Copy the game Tetris into that folder. 3. If you want to add more games just do 1 and 2 again just call the folder the same as that games you want to add. 4. if the ZX Vega has a hard time finding the folders on the SD card just reset and try again it will find them. 5. Once it found the folders go to one you want to play and then pick that folder by pressing F key. 6. Press F or S to start the game.
This might work on the ZX Spectrum Vega+ Handheld too.
